England qualified in extra time.


  • Slovakia gained the lead in the 25th minute.

  • England's equaliser was ruled out by VAR.

  • Bellingham equalised just before full-time.

  • Harry Kane took the lead in the extra time.


Slovakia started the match threatening them to take an early lead.


Slovakia constantly pressed which forced England to go back.


This was clear as Slovakia took the lead in the 25th minute. Ivan Schranz scored his 3rd goal in the tournament.


England appeared to be vulnerable in defence.


It was England 0 -1 Slovakia at halftime.


The second half commenced with England looking for their equaliser.


Foden did score for England but was ruled out by VAR as it was offside.


England looked better in the second half.


Declan Rice shot the ball but it hit the post. The follow-up shot was taken by Harry Kane but it was over the target.


Jude Bellingham equalised in the dying minutes of the match.


Bellingham scored from a bicycle kick in the 90+5th minute. This goal was England's first shot on Target in the entire match.


The match went into extra time.


Harry Kane gave England the lead at the very start of the extra time.


Slovakia looked desperate to score the equaliser.


Slovakia's defence was incredible throughout the first 90 minutes.


The match ended England 2-1 Slovakia.

Slovakia was incredible throughout the match but Jude Bellingham's acrobatic finish gave England hope and forced extra time.


Harry Kane's header was the cherry on the top for the qualification to the quarter-finals.
