The first half started with England dominating.
Serbia tried to counter but failed to do so.
In the 13th minute of the match, Bellingham scored a header. Saka crossed it to the centre but Kane missed it, Jude came flying and with a header opened the scoresheet for England.
It was a positive start for England.
25 minutes into the match England dominated possession, enjoying 70% ball possession with 2 shots with one on target.
Meanwhile, Serbia had only 30% of ball possession with 1 shot.
England from playing aggressively slowly transgressed to a slower playing style.
Saka was brought down but Serbia was given a free kick due to a handball.
The first half was physical.

Serbia had visibly stepped up their game starting the second half strong.
Serbia were constantly in the opposition's half.
England in hopes of getting a counter-attack tried to draw them to their half using back passes.
Serbia had increased their ball possession from 30% to 48% in the 58th minute.
Serbia called for a penalty in the 5th minute but the referee didn't pay heed to it.
Mitrovic falls, after what appeared to be a nudge from the back by Trippier.
Rajkevic made an important save in the 77th minute.
Serbia looked determined to equalise, they found multiple chances to score but were blocked.
The match ended with SRB 0-1 ENG.

Jude's header in the 13th minute separated both sides.
At this point in the season, Bellingham has 40 goals or assists for both club and country. The only England player with more g/a is Harry Kane (58).
